We are delighted to invite you to attend the DUSA May Roundtable "Company Relocation - Lessons Learnt and Best Practices" on May 27, 2020.


This is a hybrid event which will be held at CAREL with limited participants and offer live broadcast on Zoom.

In the industrial world, there are few things more stressful, time-consuming, and costly to a business than a 

company or manufacturing facility relocation. There are many factors to take into account when relocating, such as,


  • Finding the right location;
  • Making, renting, or buying a new building?
  • The importance of a plan and regular checks 
  • Breaking down, moving, and re-installing machinery and equipment;
  • Minimizing downtime;
  • Personnel changes; 

     ......


Despite the challenges, the benefits of relocating your company can be numerous and far-reaching. In fact, many of those perceived hurdles offer benefits, when done properly and approached with the right mindset.


In this event, Mr. Luciano Marzaro will present the lessons and best practices of the company relocation.


Ms. Donna Deng, who has just completed the company relocation project, will stand by for the Q&A Session to give some discussion as well.


Mr. Florian Weihard will share his experience about the relocation project planning and preparation.

CAREL has been operating in China since 2005, when its subsidiary "CAREL Electronic Suzhou" was founded. Today there are 290 employees working in the company.


In July 2019 CAREL Electronic moved in to a new building of 15,000 square meters, three times larger than the previous location. In addition to a manufacturing area the new building has a 120m2 laboratory with specific area for new technologies and new refrigerants as CO2 and Propane R290, 90m2 of show room, 250m2 of technical department which is the 2nd biggest of the group and focused to design solution for China and rest of Asia.


CAREL has decided to build a new plant in Suzhou New District because it is the ideal place thanks to the consolidated infrastructures, the necessary technological facilities available on the territory and the already consolidate supply chain.
